YLD achieves ISO 27001 certification

We've achieved ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management.

ISO 27001 sets out how an organisation should identify information security risks and put the right controls in place to manage them. Certification requires an independent auditor confirming that YLD’s processes for handling data, managing risk and protecting client systems meet that standard. It reflects months of work across the business, from documentation and evidence gathering to the practical steps of putting new processes in place,  where required and it's a milestone we don't take lightly. The certification reflects YLD’s continuous commitment to business improvement as we continue to scale.

For our clients, ISO 27001 is an added layer of assurance when working with us, particularly for organisations in regulated industries where data security and governance are non-negotiable.

This matters even more as AI becomes part of how software gets built. We embed AI across our product, design and engineering work, and clients reasonably want to know how their code and data are handled along the way. The certification means those questions have documented, audited answers.

"Our clients trust us with access to their systems, and data. We wanted to be able to show them how we offer protection, with an independent standard that enshrines our approach. I’m grateful to everyone across YLD who contributed to getting us here. This gives us a foundation to build on as the business grows."
